The Next Steps Once a Tenant is Accepted

Congratulations on the acceptance of your application. We look forward to having you as a tenant. What happens next?

First, we will need to collect the first month’s rent to take the property off the market. You can pay online pay or with a cashiers check or money order.

Then, you’ll review and sign the lease. We will send the lease over electronically for efficiency and you’ll be able to read through and ask any questions that come up. Once you sign the lease, we’ll set up a good time to meet to hand over your new keys.

The security deposit is due at the time of our meeting when we hand over keys. Again, this can be paid online a week ahead of your move in date to you can pay with a cashiers check or money order. You will receive A Welcome Bag to welcome you to the Kenny Realty family!

When you move in, we will ask you to fill out a move in checklist. This is where you can note all conditions of the property and then submit any minor repairs that we can discuss with the owner and send out vendors to get your repairs completed.

Now that you’re a tenant, we’ll set you up with your own tenant portal so you’re able to pay rent and submit repairs online.
